As we know, there are many famous stars around the world. Each of us has our own idols. What do you think of worshipping stars?
In my opinion, it’s OK to look up to stars or run after the stars? But we should know their advantages and understand their disadvantages. If we follow them blindly, we will become worse and worse in our schoolwork and we will become the bad kid in parents’ eyes. However, if we realize that famous stars are ordinary people and follow their advantages, we will be better and better. A friend of mine is a good example.
Her name is Mary. Mary used to be very lazy and did not do well in her schoolwork at all. Sometimes she was absent from classes and always failed in her examinations. However, after she watched a movie named Lost in Thailand, she changed a lot because of Huang Bo. She thought Huang Bo was a great man. He succeeded by his hard-working in the end. She really looked up to him and decided to learn from him. So she became more and more hard-working .And she became more interested in studying.” I work much harder than I used to .Huang Bo is my hero.” says Mary. “I believe that if I learn from him, I will succeed, too.”
All in all, it is good for us to have our own idols. However, we should run after the stars in a correct way.
