2016考研英語作文：比較狀語的寫作指導(dǎo)
英語寫作當(dāng)中經(jīng)常會(huì)用到“……很重要”這一句式，一般考生會(huì)用something be important/essential的詞匯表達(dá)。不過學(xué)了比較狀語從句以后，大家可以試著用一種更高級(jí)的表達(dá)方式，一定會(huì)讓閱卷老師眼前一亮，作文高分就不在話下啦。

上述句子可以概括為A is to B what C is to D.替換ABCD四個(gè)名詞就可以用來表達(dá)“重要性”這一概念。
【例句】
★ 人生態(tài)度——樂觀與悲觀
A positive attitude is to life what the sun is to the earth.積極的態(tài)度對(duì)于生活，好比太陽對(duì)于地球一樣。
★ 談讀書
Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.閱讀對(duì)于思想，好比運(yùn)動(dòng)對(duì)于身體一樣。
★ 贍養(yǎng)父母——家庭
Family is to the people what life is to the individual.家庭對(duì)于人類，好比生活對(duì)于個(gè)人一樣。
★ 投訴信
Cleanness is to the canteen what reputation is to the people.清潔對(duì)于食堂來說，好比名譽(yù)對(duì)于人一樣。
★ 談?wù)\信
Honesty is to the people what life is to the creature.誠(chéng)信對(duì)于人來說，好比生命對(duì)于人一樣。
比較狀語(倍數(shù)表達(dá)法)：
A+ be+倍數(shù)+as many/much as+ B
A+ be+倍數(shù)+the amount+ B
A+ be+倍數(shù)+what it was+ B
【例句】
★ 從1999年到2009年，奢侈品的銷售增長(zhǎng)了3倍。
①The sale of luxuries doubled from the end of 1999 to 2009.
�、赥he sale of luxuries increased three times/three-fold from the end of 1999 to 2009.
③A three-fold increase was seen in the sale of luxuries from the end of 1999 to 2009.

定語從句與狀語從句的寫作方法指南：合并簡(jiǎn)單句!
1.通過指代關(guān)系合并簡(jiǎn)單句為定語從句
【例句】
★ 故事發(fā)生于19世紀(jì)末期。那個(gè)時(shí)候，中國(guó)正遭受西方列強(qiáng)的蹂躪。
A: The story happened in the late 19th century.
B: At that time, China was suffering from the invasion of western powers.
→合并為定語從句：The story happened in the late 19th century when China was suffering from the invasion of western powers.
2.通過邏輯關(guān)系合并簡(jiǎn)單句為狀語從句
【例句】
★ 這個(gè)問題很復(fù)雜。我們花了近兩周的時(shí)間才把它搞定。
A: The problem was very complicated.
B: It took us nearly two weeks to solve it.
→合并為結(jié)果狀語從句The problem was so complicated that it took us nearly two weeks to solve it.
